Here are the steps to reboot your device:
Step 1. Press the Volume and the Side keys until you see the Slide to shut down option on your screen.
Step 2. Drag your finger from the left as directed to shut down your device.
Step 3. Switch on the iPhone by long pressing your side button. Once the iPhone has rebooted, check for iOS 17 updates again.
If this doesn't help, you can try to force restart your device. Here are the steps:
Step 1. Press then quickly release your Volume Up key and do the same with the Volume Down key.
Step 2. Next, long press your Side key for a few seconds. Once the Apple sign appears on your screen, you can release your side key.
