How to Backup and Restore Contacts on Android Phones?
Step 1. Connect your Android phone with your computer
Please note the following guide is based on Windows version of the Android Assistant. The operations on Mac are almost the same.
Start the program after you download and install it. Connect your Android phone to the computer with a USB cable or via Wi-Fi. Turn on USB debugging on your Android phone and wait until the program detect your device.
Step 2: Backup your Android contacts to computer
Once the connected Android phone has been detected successfully, you can see all your Android phone data are scanned automatically and listed on the left side menu, including SMS, Music, Videos, Photos, Contacts, Apps, Books, etc. Choose the "Contacts" and all the contacts on your Android phone will be scanned out.
Preview and scanned out contacts, select those you want to backup by ticking them off, and then click the button of "Export" on the top to transfer them selectively to your computer for backup.
Step 3. Restore contacts to Android mobile phone
